Another drawing featuring Pistol the American Kestral from the University of Illinois Veterinary School Wildlife Medical Clinic.
Pistol recently passed away from old age and I knew had to do a special piece to honor him. He came to the clinic ten years ago due to a wing injury and has been unable to fly since, although it never appeared to dampen his spirits any. Because of this I knew I had to draw him flying.
His spirit must have been with me because somehow I did this drawing in under a day.
